Missions

“Ask of me and I will give you the nations for your inheritance” Psalm 2:8.

Our mission is involved around church planting, conducting ministry schools, seminars, conferences and crusades, and also includes medical camps and social work.

The Nagas are called to be a missionary people- and we seek to be a part of that mandate as a church. From the beginning the church has been involved in missions as a primary emphasis of its ministries. Harvest Missions is involved in the countries of Myanmar, Nepal and Bhutan and also in the India states of Assam, West Bengal and Sikkim through its own missionaries and partner ministries.

The Nagas were formerly headhunters and animists, brought to Christ through the ministry of American Baptist missionaries in the 19th century. Now, we seek to be a part of the continuous work of the end time harvest of souls.

Myanmar Faith Harvest Church

Myanmar

Harvest Missions in Myanmar includes Faith Harvest Church, Yangon, and three house churches in three other provinces, along with a small children’s home. We regularly conduct conferences and short term schools to impact the church and leaders of the nation.

Dimapur

Dimapur

The city of Dimapur is the largest city in Nagaland and has a large population that is unreached. Grace Harvest Church in Dimapur has a vision to reach all  communities  through the church, a children’s tutorial ministry among the non-naga  community and the outreach of the Jesus Film Project.

Assam

Assam

Assam is the largest state in the northeast of India. Most of the population is unreached with the gospel. Harvest Mission has planted two churches in Assam (one along the Bhutan border), and also started work among the different communities through house churches. Recently many have come to the Lord and are being discipled and baptised.
